Hello new poster here.

The thing is I have been looking for the perfect leather jacket for several month now and I have found it.. Well I went to see this halfbad movie Jumper, Sure many of you have seen it, nothing good but there was one particular thing I did like.

The friggin' jacket Jamie Bell wore, a black distressed thin leather jacket with two pockets, very simple but I like it and I cant find anything that resemble it even remotely. Googled the hell out of it and to me it's impossible to find. I have been told that it might be in the 141 series of cafe racers from schott but google gives me nothing.

If anyone can find it i'll reward you a finders fee.. 50 bucks instantly.

Thank you.

Welcome to our blog,

I wish I had some goods news for you, but this is not a Schott Jacket. In styling it is very close to our style 141, but we do not have a jacket with the 2 top pockets as on this jacket. You also mention it was a thin leather jacket, if you know Schott jackets our leather is definately not thin. All our motorcycle jackets are of heavy and very durable leather and are made for protection when riding. A thin leather will yield no protection if you should take a spill on a bike. We do make custom jackets and we could duplicate this jacket for you, but it would not be made in thin leather as we just do not have thin leather in our leather inventory. gail

It looks almost like a very old Wilson Leather jacket that I have but the leather that jacket is made from is very heavy. I got that jacket back in the late 70s or early 80s and it has the cafe style collar and those breast pockets as well....but it definitely isn't thin...it may actually weigh more than my Schott 118.

actually I habe no idea if it really is thin or thick, When wating the movie it seems as if it's light, but I really don't know, I don't even know if it's a motorcycle jacket or not.

Although I do ride a moto I don't have plans on wearing it for motorcycling but just for everyday use, Might look into the costum replica offer sounds great that It can be made. But if I can't find It I might take consider it.

If I think of it, I'll take a pic of it tonight when I get home from work and drop it on here..It is pretty worn (we'll call it "broken in"), after all it is over 30 years old and I have not always been easy on it.

That would be great tim, I doubt that they would use a rare vintage jacket for a movie production, as they would be stuck if it tore or something during filming. So I suspect it's something new from somewhere.

Anyways what would a costum version of the jacket cost? I bet the price will be steep.

This would be a closer picture of it:

EDIT:

Ahh damn I just got it contact with one of the costume directors of the film and she said that the jackets were costum made and broken down specificly for the movie :(

Guess I'll be looking at the costum options schott has.

Hey

I also love this jacket....i thing its a classic.. looks good on anyone with plain tshirt and jeans...let me know what you finally decided to do or how you got one with any.....by the sounds of it you like the same style as me which is great....just a thought have you looked at the motorcycle jacket Brad Pitt wears in the movie "Fight Club"...i think that also looks cool in black as not many of us could carry off wearing the red one in normal lives...

warm regards
