Early 90s Schott; but which one?
Watch this Post
Hi all! I bought this jacket in Greenwich Village in 1992. It's brown. I think it had a belt with it, I don't remember. What model Schott is it, does anyone know?

The tag in the pocket reads: LOT 1694 BNDL 002, and then there's a 609 printed there too. (But I couldn't find a model 609.)

I'm going to sell it; I wear my other one far more, always have--we have 28 years of history together. About what does everyone think it's worth, and what's the best way to go--eBay?

Thanks--Mike.

List for sale here. Check completed Ebay auctions to get a price range. Make sure to look at condition as a factor.

If it doesn't sell, list on Ebay. Take good pictures and good measurements.

Mike, this is the style steerhide style 609 which we produced in 1991 & 1992. Gail

Thanks winter and Gail. Sounds like there weren't many 609s (unpopular?). As far as measurements, it's a 42, so hopefully that'll let folks know what they're getting into. Pricewise, I couldn't find any that have been sold recently, so that's kind of a barrier to putting it up for sale here: I don't know what to ask for it. Hmmm....

Mike,  Just a little input older jackets were a smaller cut. Though the jacket is a 42 it may be closer in sizing to a szie 40. When posting you should include the underarm pit to pit measurement, shoulder width, back length and sleeve length. There were not too many made, but that may be a good thing for a collector looking for a style that did not have alot of production making it a rarer older jacket. Good Luck. Gail

The Perfecto 609 has also existed in brown version. I owned one, bought originaly in 1992, in a US military clothes shop. Because the first owner use "pin's" on the collar, there is 2 hole. To repare this, and to be in accordance with the originals sign of the mark I bought Rothco General Star: http://www.rothco.com/product-details/rothco-general-insignia ,in order to "remember" the 613 insigns... It's a geat jacket, more easy to wear than 618 or 115, with a very large inside pocket and a sizing more larger... It's my favorite of my collection.
