Could you tell me if the best choice for a belt on the 125. I'm thinking because of the larger belt loops a soft leather might just bunch or is a 118 belt best and available? What is a Sam Brown belt? Thanks

The style 125 was designed with the option of the owner to select the type of belt he preferred. The belt on jacket 118 is not a full detachable belt, but is a half belt that is sewn into the side seams of the jacket. The Sam Brown belt is the name of a belt we purchased from a belt manufacturer for the James Dean Jacket in 1985. Most motorcycle belts are made from heavy sturdy leather. Gail
