Anyone can tell me anything about this jacket?
Watch this Post

I am going to try to buy this jacket. Any info about when was it made or anything you can tell me will be appreciated. How much is it worth so I can give a reasonable offer to the seller.

Thanks in advance

The jacket is the Classic motorcycle style 618 or possiblly even the 118, style number would depend on the type of leather. We do not give values of what a used jacket is worth. Since this is the classic style I can only date the jacket based on the labels. The Perfecto label with the Bull and the by "Schott  NYC", was used from the early 1980's to the mid-1980's. Gail

What type of leather were offeed? And How do they differ?

Thanks

The 618 is a steerhide leather which has a finish applied to the leather, the 118 isa naked cowhide leather which has no finish applied to the leather, both leathers are the same weight. Gail

What kind of finish? And can you tell by the picture? What do you think about the condition? And why is it missing the top pair of metal snaps?

I can not tell by a photo what type of leather a jacket is. Also on older worn jackets the jacket looses the original appearance of the leather as it become broken-in and delvelopes a worn appearance. Gail

Why this jacket does not have the top metal snaps? Different model? I see some with and others without. And about the condition what can you tell me?

I am really sorry but just based on this one photo  I can not see all the details of the jacket to provide better answers. Since there are no collar snaps it could be a 613, but I cannot see if the snaps are plain wor with a logo. I do not see stars on the epaulets, but I cannot see the snaps on the epaulets either, or if there are holes in the eoaukets where the stars were. Not sure what type of lining is in the jacket or what the logo is on the front zipper pull. No one can tell the condition on a jacket by looking at the photo, except that it does appear to be well worn, the jacket is approximately 30 years old, you need to actually see the jacket to know it 's condition. I am sorry but I cannot tell you more, on any used jacket you never really know the complete history of the jacket.

I understand, thanks a lot for all the answers. I put a $200 offer and the seller agreed. I will let you know more when I get it by next week or so.

Thanks again.
