Just checked the tag on my mid 80s leather and found out it is a 618. What exactly makes this model versus others(like my 118) unique? What are its details and attributes? It's still hangin' in there strong after all these years of shows and insanity (the legendary Dale did me the favor of signing it at his show at CBGB). Schott - you guys RULE! Thanks for the info.

There is so much information on this blog that have been posted about the 618, that I suggest you click onto the search option above and it will provide you much more then I can in a single response to you. The main difference between the 118 and the 618 is that the leather in the 118 is a naked cowhide and the 618 is a steerhide. Older 118 jackets prior to 1998 will have the same fit as the 618, after 1998 thay have a more updated fit. Gail
