hello. i'm about to recieve a jacket from ebay, what i was wondering was if i can determine if it is a 141 or 641 judging from the number code: 1214107011. also, if i can find out what year it was produced, that would be great as well.
generally, how can you date 141's using the barcode? |

On older jackets the bar code cannot always tell you the year it was produced. On the bar cosed it is usually the 5th.number that can determine the year tje jacket was produced. The jacket you have was made in 2001, sold to American Harley Davidon in Tonwanda NY on 8/23/01. On older jackets we cannot provide all this information on a jacket as our bar codes were not on a computer system., providing us with all this information. Gail |

wow... thanks for the info Gail! any chance you can tell if it's a cowhide 141 or steerhide 641?
i bought this one to replace my trusty old 141 from years ago, my old one fits too loose these days. |
